The Conference of Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers (Conference) will be holding its invitation-only Leadership Summit from Saturday, October 4–Monday, October 6, in Québec City, Québec.

All hotel rooms at Le Château Frontenac are available on a first come-first served basis, and all costs will be the responsibility of the attendee(s). Attire

Typical temperatures for Québec City during this time of year are from the upper 30s to the mid- 50s (3-12 Celsius).  Throughout the Summit, attendees should be dressed in business attire unless otherwise noted on the agenda.

Transportation to Québec City

Group Transportation

The October 5 reception and dinner for all participants will be held at Le Théâtre Capitole.  While it is within walking distance (13 minutes), bus transportation will be available for all attendees to and from Le Château Frontenac.

Media Information

Media are invited to cover the press conference on October 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Le Château Frontenac.  For security purposes, all media are encouraged to pre-register for the press conference by contacting Craig Clark at craig@clarkcommunication.com (616/550-2736).  Selected plenary sessions on October 5 are also open to the press.  Members of the press must register before the Summit and obtain credentials.

Summit Credentials

Summit credentials must be worn by all attendees.  All attendees must come to registration to pick up their credentials. No exceptions.

Attendees are required to have two forms of personal identification available including a current, government issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport), to receive credentials.  The second form of identification must confirm the individual’s business affiliation (such as a business card or organizational ID); personal credit cards are not a valid form of identification.
